Calling all aspiring writers!  Adults and students alike are invited to join us as we welcome three authors to the museum.  Hear them read from their works, discuss their creative process and share their writing inspiration. 

Shoshanna McCollum

Like ripples of the tide coming to shore, Fire Island's history is a reflection of greater Long Island, New York State, and ultimately the nation itself.  As author of two comprehensive photo-essay books on the subject, Shoshanna McCollum will discuss this history, both in words and images from Colonial times up through present day, and its correlation to events of a wider global context.
