WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

As the United States marks its semiquincentennial, Long Island stands as a powerful reminder of the challenges, sacrifices, and divided loyalties that shaped the
Revolutionary era. Situated just miles from British occupied New York City, Long Island was one of the most politically divided areas in the colonies and became one of the most strategically vital and most conflicted regions. This exhibit will explore how the Martin family of Rock Hall stood at the crossroads of the Revolution.
