Master Builder Robert Moses was president of the Long Island State Park Commission for nearly four decades (1924-1963) and responsible for creating numerous state parks and parkways on Long Island. This presentation on the life and career of Moses focuses on his accomplishments in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
The speaker, Dr. Natalie Naylor, is a retired Hofstra University professor and a past president of the Friends of Rock Hall Museum, is president of the Nassau County Historical Society and editor of its annual Journal.
