"Drawing" on paintings from the Colonial and Revolutionary War period, speaker Doug Sheer will talk about the history of the artists, their works and the events the artists depicted from that era. Through art, listeners will relive the battles, the lives of the leaders, and the events of these tumultuous years.
Mr. Sheer was Curriculum Coordinator of Social Studies at Garden City High School and has lectured on Art and Art History for many years at schools and libraries and on cruise ships. He is a member of the Board of the Friends of Rock Hall Museum and President of the Long Beach Island Landmarks Association. Space limited. Reservations requested. No Fee.
