Addi Catarina is an artist and art educator from Massachusetts with a passion for
historical research. After acquiring a diary written in 1917 by Anglesea Hewlett, a
young Brooklyn socialite, she began researching the writer’s life and sharing her
discoveries on social media. Anglesea, daughter of James Monroe Hewlett, had a
strong connection with Rock Hall. In this presentation, Addi will share her discovery
process and dive deep into the world of Rock Hall and Long Island as Anglesea
experienced it over 100 years ago.
