“The History of Magic and the Magic of History”

Judge Gary Brown, an award-winning magician, inventor and magic scholar, will highlight some of the colorful history of stage magic, including the work of magicians on Long Island over the past century. He will also focus on the role of history in magic, documenting and demonstrating effects and presentations that magicians have drawn from centuries of conjuring literature.
Fee: $10; $8 seniors. Members free. Check is to be payable to the Friends of Rock Hall. Space limited. Reservations required.
